While Northern NSW metal duo Beast Machine may have been around for a number of years, it is only recently that the band has managed to spread their name where it matters – the hearts and ears of a frustrated musical landscape yearning for something they can claim as their own.
As a live unit Beast Machine have never failed to deliver, with their dynamic, intense and encompassing performances forcing many-a-jaw to hit the floor, but, until now, have somehow managed to get lost somewhere in translation when it comes to singles.
Not that their output has been bad – anything but – but perhaps their song selection could have been better utilized to play to their many strengths.
Previous single Frozen hinted at what Beast Machine had to offer but they have certainly dished up the main course with new release Look What You’ve Done, a pummeling monster of a track that shows Beast Machine in their true, heaviest form.
