De: Es war ein sonniger Morgen im Schwarzwald.
En: It was a sunny morning in the Black Forest.

De: Die Vögel sangen fröhlich, und die Bäume wisperten leise im Wind.
En: The birds sang happily, and the trees whispered softly in the wind.

De: Anna und Max standen vor der großen alten Scheune.
En: Anna and Max stood in front of the large old barn.

De: Heute war ein besonderer Tag.
En: Today was a special day.

De: Ein Fest für das ganze Dorf sollte stattfinden.
En: A festival for the whole village was to take place.

De: Anna kicherte. "Max, meinst du, wir schaffen es rechtzeitig?"
