We speak with Barbara about what led to her diagnosis as a 10-year-old girl and how her experiences throughout childhood and adulthood have guided her journey to self-acceptance and advocacy.
Barbara also discusses her recently published book, “The Trichster Diaries,” which chronicles how she's successfully managed her healthcare as well as all of the fear, anxiety, and insecurity that she had to navigate to become the confident person she is today.
