The times when we least see or sense things happening to bring that purpose about are often when God is doing the greatest work in us and on our behalf. God desires for us to have character, and character is built through times of pressure and trials. But without the character that God develops in us we will fall under the pressures of the promotions that He wants to give us. It is so imperative to wait on the timing of the Lord. We were not created to do the things that God has called us to do by ourselves. We were created to work with Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the goals He has for our lives. We have to find Him, find who we are in Him, and never stop seeking His presence.
