En: Do you want to participate?”
Ga: “Ó,” arsa Áine ag gáire.
En: “Oh,” Áine said, laughing.
Ga: “Cén fáth nach bhfuil? Tá sé cosúil le margadh feirmeora, nach bhfuil?”
En: “Why not? It’s like a farmer’s market, isn’t it?”
Ga: Chá bhfuair Áine amach nach mar sin a bhí go dtí gur chaith sí éadach feirmeora uirthi féin.
En: Áine didn’t realize it wasn’t like that until she put on farming clothes herself.

Ga: Ghlaoigh Séamus sa deireadh, “Ná bí buartha, Áine!
En: Séamus called out at last, “Don’t worry, Áine!
Ga: Tarlúíonn sé sin do gach tosaitheoir.”
En: That happens to every beginner.”
Ga: Stop sí agus bhreathnaigh siar ar na caoirigh.
En: She stopped and looked back at the sheep.
Ga: Bhí siad ag seachadadh mar a dhéanamh go minic.
En: They were behaving as they often did.
