The two women discuss roadblocks to healthy friendships such as wanting to fix everything for friends, the fear of rejection, only having enough time to work and not socialize, and the toll toxic friendships can take on your mental health. There is also an examination of how misogyny and other oppressive systems affect our ability to make lasting friendships. Marissa has done an amazing job bringing people together for No More Lonely Friends and helping her participants believe that quality friendships are out there waiting for them.
