mostra di piùSo here we are! The 10th month! Are you more certain today then yesterday? We still have the ability to replenish the source of energy that gives you a greater sense of freedom? Nothing political. But rather internal. The freedom to be you. Without judgement. Without feeling like you’ve given your entire process of success away. To learn from this chapter in unexpected circumstances and layout the structure of finding yourself not only in the mirror but in the eyes of the image staring back at you from inside the mirror. On this podcast episode the goal is to identify the triggers. To step free of the unspoken truths about how you think and deliver. I started my daily writing today by asking a simple yet extremely heavy question, “Where do we begin?” Such a place in my heart might come off as an exhausted moment. Not so. It’s letting my mind body and soul know that no matter how cluttered things are in the realm of our present reality there’s enough room to continue dreaming on the inside core of who we are. I daily write through multiple storms. You’d think getting up at 4:30 every morning to put words on paper would be a huge negative. Not so. Sitting near my writing window overlooking a beautiful forest at 4:30 seems peace filled until you realize you can’t see the trees and the lay of the land shaped by a tiny creek. It’s not a negative because it teaches my creative self to trust that it’s there. To have faith that it will always walk beside me. The most difficult part of being a daily writer is the clock. It never stops moving and that tells my conscious mind that I too must make my way forward. Time management to me isn’t taken lightly. It’s a sharply tuned well defined discipline that’s required decades of practice. Being so strict with time has led to a lot of heartbreak. 98% of those around me find strength in always being late. Then I’m told to have compassion, empathy and be more forgiving. So being early makes me come across as being a jerk or a nervous artist. Let’s speak truth and honesty. Being on time means I’m buying time not chasing it. Getting my expectations of the day done before its due time allows me to find a moment to take another walk through the forest or jump into an event that isn’t scheduled for today. Working ahead buys me time. But! But! My rhythm isn’t always on schedule. I do have days when I get so far behind that it totally takes out my subconscious. That’s when I leap onto YouTube and check in with meditation music. It allows me to talk to myself. To gently remind the creative source of flow that being present is the greater gift. Don’t check out if time appears to be in a rough place. Keep the river flowing. I share this inside story with you by way of helping you clear the heart. You’re not getting anywhere when you say, “I have an open heart.” That ten pound bag of potatoes can’t hold fifteen. My pet peeve? The clock on the dashboard of my wife’s car is set fifteen minutes ahead of what the time truly is. As much as she feels like she’s running on time. When I’m driving I’m freaking out because I feel like the world is crashing. I’m late. How in God’s name did I waste so much time getting out of the neighborhood? Then she calmly reminds me of the true time. A total time freak! Which is on fire today. Wow. The 10th month of the year. It’s already here. Did you get anything done over the past nine? Or are you still waiting for fate and karma to catch up? Be nice to yourself by building a platform of growth based on keeping a firm grip on the presence of time.
