The text presents Luis B. Vega's study that seeks to determine the timing of the Rapture by proposing an alternative interpretation of the biblical feast days, particularly Pentecost. Vega argues that the true day of Pentecost in Acts 2 did not coincide with the traditional Jewish holiday of Shavuot, but rather with the Feast of the First-Fruits of the New Wine, based on a double 50-day count from a fixed Passover date determined by the Spring Equinox. This calculation leads to the specific date of July 23 (7/23) as the anniversary of both the Holy Spirit's descent and the potential date for the Rapture, which Vega notes also corresponds to the day of the Golden Calf Incident during the Exodus. The author contrasts this celebratory "New Wine" feast with the somber Jewish fast day of Tisha B'Av (9th of Av), arguing that the protocols of mourning on Tisha B'Av are diametrically opposed to the joyful celebration described in Acts 2, thereby rejecting the notion that the 9th of Av could be the true date of Pentecost, even though the Rapture could still coincidentally occur on that day.
