A note about ads
I just wanted to briefly touch on something that I know is going to be an issue for some folks, and that is the in-episode advertisments on this feed.
I created this sub-feed from the original Spoil Me! main feed. Normally when I post a new episode, I go in and select spots that are decent breaks in the flow for an ad and slip them in, around a group of 3 ads about every 15 minutes.
However, when I moved the episodes from the main Spoil Me! feed, every single ad placement I had made was erased. I had two choices: either I chooose 'ad optimization' and let Spreaker automatically insert ads, or I turn off ad revenue entirely until I can go through every single episode and replace the ad breaks manually again.
I'm so sorry friends, but I'm not doing that second thing. Firstly, I will lose income in the meantime which I cannot afford and secondly, it is a TON of work to do ad placement; it's my least favorite part of this job.
So please accept my apologies for how annoying the ad placement is, and know that I also hate it. Take comfort in the fact that you're generating a few cents in revenue for me for every irritating break, which makes you a hero.
