The Thai government voted this week to implement a new 90 day tourist visa that would be available from possibly sometime in October. This 90 tourist visa would cost 200 baht and be extendable up to two times allowing a tourist to stay in Thailand for up to 9 months. So far it appears tourists would be allowed to visit Thailand from Taiwan, China, and some European countries. For more information it's recommended you speak with an agency or airline certified by TAT, Tourism Authority Of Thailand, or the closest Thai embassy or consultate near you.
