This comment is going to be lengthy, but I feel led to post it. Finding the light doesn't come about because we've made a commitment to Christ, that's only the beginning. Tests and trials will come. If we endure and overcome small issues, the Lord will put more on us, then the path of the cross begins. We then feel something real in our spirit that we haven't experienced before. If we are willing to jump off the cliff and trust that God will catch us - He will. That's the start of letting go of self. The Lord will reveal us to us when we being to let go of self. Self righteousness and unforgiveness are very difficult to overcome. Most Christians are not willing to deal with these. It many take months, years or even decades because we have to see it, know it, and repent of it. The repentance must be real. We can fool ourselves and other people, but we cannot fool the Father. He knows us well and what it will take for us. Only until we continue to trust Him and become broken to surrender our will to Him will we get a glimpse of the Light. We will never forget it because it will be a glorious entry into true sonship. As the sons press upward and onward, our trust in the heavenly Father increases and then we will "Find the Light". Our spiritual journey takes us to the place of actually experiencing God. This journey is difficult and there are times we doubt ourselves. God is with us. Now is the time!
