Thank you for this. Have been actively working on myself for decades. When my adopted biracial kids were young I did the same as you...started attending a local black church to make friends and so they could encounter black adults as role models and lbecome comfortable w music and cadences of pastor. Helped me, and now kids grown and some of those ladies I met I still see in town and they always stop to chat and we talk about our families. My kids in their 30's now.
