Outreach Director, Candie Hovarter with Livingston/Western Oakland Meals on Wheels is this week's guest. She and Rob discuss their program and the great things they are doing in our community. Meals on Wheels is much more than just a meal. It provides homebound older adults with a means of human contact on a daily basis by friendly, courteous volunteers. This gives our seniors and their families a sense of security, knowing that someone who cares will check on them. They're always looking for volunteers, so listen in and see what you may be able to do to help.
