This week, I am at an Academy of Forensic Nursing conference. The theme for the conference is Beyond the Bedside: Increasing the footprint of the forensic nurse. Conference sessions will help me learn more about developing a follow-up clinic after an acute forensic exam, forensic implications of gunshot wounds, severe injuries of child physical abuse, and much more.
