We continue our summer series, Life in the Spirit: It’s Complicated, hearing in Matthew 9 and 10 how Jesus sent His disciples out and the accompanying instructions He gave them for the journey. Talk about confusing! Talk about scary! Talk about crazy! If we pay close attention to exactly what Jesus was saying, how Jesus sent them out makes no sense. It was complicated. But the crazy thing is, in so many ways, many of these instructions still apply today. We’ll walk through and consider the warnings as well as the promises.
