Why can relationships be so difficult—even with the people we love most?

In Week 6 of our 50 Days of Transformation journey, we explore how God wants to transform our relational life. Looking back to Genesis 3, we discover three fears that can quietly damage our relationships:

• Fear of exposure – What if people really knew me?
• Fear of disapproval – What if I'm criticised or rejected?
• Fear of losing control – What happens if I allow myself to be vulnerable? 

These fears can lead us to hide, become defensive, blame others, or try to control the people around us.

God's answer to relational fear isn't simply greater confidence or better communication techniques—it is learning to live securely in God's love.

“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear.” — 1 John 4:18 (NLT)

In this message, we explore three daily practices that can transform the way we relate to others: surrendering our hearts to God, remembering how deeply God loves us, and offering that same love to others. 

When we know that we are completely accepted, unconditionally loved, totally forgiven and deeply valuable, fear begins to lose its grip. We become freer to be vulnerable, extend grace, forgive, hope and love others as Christ has loved us.

Transformation isn't just about changing what we do. God wants to transform the way we think, love and relate—from the inside out.
