Harambe wasnt like your typical gorilla that is born in its natural habitat. It was born in captivity and was used to human interaction all of its life. I do not understand why that beautiful and endangered silverback's life couldn't be spared I believe he should have been tranquilized.

I also got the impression that Deters was implying that the robber knew that that $90k was going to be there at that moment in time. He CERTAINLY could not see that from the street!

Of course there is liability on the zoo's part. There won't be any charges filed against that parent because that will open up the flood doors for a suit and additional national exposure. Sorry that that animal had to be put down when it was clear he was attempting to protect the child.
