This is so timely as COVID has affected not only the physical health but also the emotional and intellectual areas of people. This can be reflected in decision making which may lead to biases when not addressed.

Whenever we face different kinds of threats we usually make decisions based on our guts and overlook or disregard its underlying effects. It is hard especially if we are not able to recognize that we actually have this type of bias. Glad to see this insightful podcast, I may not be able to entirely remove my bias but this will surely help me lessen those.

In the first months of pandemic last year, we were so complacent with our actions, thinking that it will not reach in our country since Wuhan is really far. I am guilty with the the attention bias, making decisions based in my emotions that ended up regret in the end. Thank you for this article, for sharing strategic plans to address the cognitive bias. Will definitely share this to my friends and colleagues.
