Stamattina mi sono svegliata con una voglia pazzesca di Settimana Enigmistica, è da tantissimo tempo che non la compravo più. Prima la compravo, diciamo abbastanza regolarmente, nel senso che ogni volta che tornavo in Italia me la compravo, o quando trovavo un'edicola che vendeva giornali italiani me ne compravo un numero. Poi da quando mi sono trasferita qua diciamo che vado a periodi, a volte la compro ogni settimana per mesi e mesi, poi me ne dimentico, non la compro più.
Ecco, è da un po' che non compravo la settimana enigmistica. Oggi mi è venuta una voglia pazza di comprarla. Non solo, ma mi sono svegliata con questa immagine: io al mare sdraiata sull'asciugamano, sotto il sole che faccio la settimana enigmistica. Allora ho coinvolto mio marito in questa cosa qua, ho finito di fare le cose che stavo facendo, tra l'altro un lavoro molto bello che oggi finisce ma che mi ha divertito tantissimo, messa il costumino da bagno, preparata la borsa, evvai! E poi ci siamo dovuti arrabattare per cercare un'edicola in spiaggia, trovare la settimana enigmistica, che abbiamo trovato, io mi ero portata dietro la penna, allora abbiamo trovato parcheggio, siamo scesi in spiaggia però ahimè vento, ventaccio di scirocco ci stava veramente scomodi, nel senso che, non tanto che volasse la sabbia, perché lo scirocco al Poetto la spiaggia dove vado vicino a casa è il mare da fuori verso dentro, quindi non c'era sabbia, in movimento però dicevo che non era molto invitante.
Allora cosa abbiamo fatto? Abbiamo preso la mia bella Settimana Enigmistica e ci siamo piazzati in un baretto, uno di quei baretti che ci sono al Poetto, io mi sono messa tranquillamente in costume da bagno perché questi baretti sono dei chioschi sulla spiaggia e abbiamo ordinato un bell'aperitivo, erano ormai quasi le undici, e ci siamo messi così a tavolino a fare le parole crociate, quelle a schema libero di quelle delle ultime pagine a schema libro, Bartezzaghi mi pare, molto divertente, molto bello. Abbiamo completato tutto il cruciverba senza nemmeno commettere un errore.
Niente, è stata una cosa molto soddisfacente, anche perché poi, tornando a casa in macchina, mi sono messa a fare i rebus e ne ho fatto diversi. E anche quelle altre cose della sfinge. Sono abbastanza brava a fare i rebus e anche quelle cose cambio di vocale, cambio di iniziale, zeppa, bla bla. Non faccio mai le crittografie e non sono molto brava a fare gli anagrammi, però per gli altri diciamo che sono nella media-alta e anche nelle parole crociate sono abbastanza brava. Ho imparato da piccola a fare le parole crociate perché mio papà era un appassionato di enigmistica e comprava religiosamente la Settimana Enigmistica e a casa di mia mamma, conservo ancora gelosamente una delle ultime settimane enigmistiche che ha comprato mio papà.

I woke up this morning with a craving for Settimana Enigmistica (Puzzle Week), it's been a very long time since I bought it. Then since I moved here let's say I go in periods, sometimes I buy it every week for months and months, then I forget about it, I don't buy it anymore.
Here, it's been a while since I bought the Puzzle Week. Today I had a crazy desire to buy it. Not only that, but I woke up with this image: me at the beach lying on the towel, under the sun doing the Puzzle Week. So I got my husband involved in this thing here, finished the things I was doing, by the way a very nice job that ends today but that I enjoyed so much, put on the swimsuit, prepared the bag, yay! Anyway, it was very satisfying, also because then, on the way home in the car, I got into rebuses and did several. And also those other puzzle things. I'm pretty good at doing rebuses and also those things vowel change, initial change, wedge, blah blah. I never do cryptographs and I'm not very good at anagrams, however for the others let's say I'm average-high and even in crossword puzzles I'm pretty good. I learned crossword puzzles as a child because my dad was a puzzle enthusiast and religiously bought Puzzle Week, and at my mom's house, I still jealously preserve one of the last issues that my dad bought.
