Non è facile ricostruire lo spritz allo zafferano, però mi sa che ci sono riuscita!

Mi piace molto, moltissimo lo zafferano e ho impiegato un po' di tempo a trovare un liquore, un alcolico al gusto di zafferano perchè volevo farmi lo spritz allo zafferano, una bevanda che ho assaggiato qualche tempo fa a Venezia, tra l'altro in questa situazione bellissima dove c'era un po' fuori dai circuiti dei turisti, c'era questo spiazzo che naturalmente dava su un canale, avevano allestito una specie di chiatta di legno e lì c'erano questi ragazzi che servivano dei cocktail molto basic, nel senso che i bicchieri non erano di quelli fighi, insomma era molto bella la situazione, poi si poteva stare seduti sugli sdrai, e lì avevo provato questo spritz allo zafferano che era buonissimo.

Ripeto, lo zafferano è uno dei sapori che preferisco. E da allora è iniziata la mia, la mia ricerca del liquore allo zafferano. Ce ne sono diversi in giro che dicono di avere lo zafferano come ingrediente, però poi vai a vedere e effettivamente c'è lo zafferano, però c'è anche l'anice. L'anice è uno dei gusti che a me non piacciono, non solo, ma quando esiste insieme allo zafferano copre completamente il gusto dello zafferano.

Ci sono un paio di liquori antichi, di quelli di quando io ero bambina che ricordo erano allo zafferano. Ne abbiamo provato diversi, però sempre con risultati deludenti e anche un po'... Insomma, una volta che compro una bottiglia di liquore poi non è che lo assaggi, dici non mi piace, lo butti, poi te lo devi pure in qualche modo assorbire. Non sono una persona che beve alcolici, quindi durano anni.

Ecco, qualche giorno fa al supermercato ci siamo di nuovo fatti prendere dall'entusiasmo delle mie passioni e abbiamo provato un nuovo liquore, che nuovo non è, ma è vecchissimo. È il Liquore Strega che mi ricordo benissimo la pubblicità dove c'era Sylva Koscina, affascinante, conturbante e ricordo lo slogan "Il primo sorso affascina. Il secondo Strega." Bellissima trovata pubblicitaria, bellissimo slogan, complimenti ai creativi, e abbiamo trovato, mi sa, la pozione magica perché il Liquore Strega, un po' di liquore, un po' di vino frizzante o prosecco, e poi soda ed è buonissimo.

Cubetti di ghiaccio, tra l'altro ci stiamo anche allestendo il balconcino con poltroncine e cose così spettacolari, e vi assicuro che sembra di essere sul canale di Venezia a sorseggiare lo spritz allo zafferano. Devo aggiungere adesso non so se un rametto di menta oppure una un po' di limone o una scorza di limone, non lo so, qualche ciliegina sulla torta manca, però diciamo che al 95% o il mio cocktail dell'estate.

There are a couple of old liquors from when I was a child that I remember were saffron. We have tried several, however, always with disappointing results and even a little... I mean, once I buy a bottle of liquor then it's not like you taste it, you say I don't like it, you throw it away, then you have to absorb it somehow. I am not a person who drinks alcohol, so they last for years.

Here, a few days ago at the supermarket we again got caught up in the enthusiasm of my passions and tried a new liquor , which is not new, but it is very old. It is the Strega Liquor that I remember very well the advertisement where there was Sylva Koscina, charming , disturbing and I remember the slogan "The first sip fascinates . The second Strega."
