Quando ero piccola, prima che esistesse internet, c'era un programma che facevano la televisione una volta la settimana e si chiamava "Prima Visione" ed era l'unico momento in cui si potevano vedere le anteprime dei film che poi sarebbero andate al cinema.

Era un programma che aspettavo sempre con grande anticipazione, perché mi dava la possibilità di vedere quelli che sarebbero stati i film. Non andavo spesso al cinema da bambina, se non al cinema parrocchiale, per cui per me era veramente aprire una finestra nel mondo dei grandi e vedere queste grandi produzioni del cinema, che spesso neanche arrivavano nella mia città di provincia.

Ora con internet siamo abituati ad andare a guardarci le anteprime dei film, anzi diciamo che adesso io evito di guardarle le anteprime dei film perché da un po' di tempo c'è questa abitudine che o ti fanno vedere tutte le scene clou, per cui ti raccontano praticamente i film, inclusi i colpi di scena, ti fanno vedere il funerale, sai che il personaggio è morto, oppure, e anche questo capita sempre più spesso, ti fanno vedere delle scene che poi non ci sono quando vai a vedere il film, questo succede soprattutto nei film di azione.

Ma perché vi sto parlando delle anteprime cinematografiche? Perché ho scoperto un podcast, e non parlo spesso di podcast in questo mio podcast (ah! ah, che meta!) ho scoperto questo podcast che è tutto basato sulle anteprime degli altri podcast, ed è molto carino, è molto meta, già dal titolo si chiama Trailer Park: The Podcast Trailer Podcast.

Ora devo un po' spiegare questo gioco di parole: 'trailer park' in inglese, trailer è appunto il modo in cui si indica l'anteprima, sia dei film che dei podcast, di tutto quanto. Però trailer è, se andate a cercarlo nel dizionario, è anche il nome inglese delle roulotte, e il 'trailer park' è il parco dove sono parcheggiate le roulotte, sono dei veri e propri villaggi dove la gente va a vivere, quindi questo 'trailer park' è un po' un gioco di parole tra il parco delle roulotte dove la gente vive e il posto dove si trovano le anteprime dei podcast.

Ma non sono anteprime qualsiasi, sono anteprime di podcast che ancora non esistono, cioè di qualcuno che, così come spesso si fa, fa l'anteprima, poi va in giro dagli investitori con l'anteprima e dice ecco questo il podcast che vorrei fare? But why am I telling you about movie premieres? Because I discovered a podcast, and I don't often talk about podcasts in this podcast of mine (ah! ah, very meta!) I discovered this podcast which is all based on the previews of other podcasts, and it's very cute, it's very meta, already from the title, it is called Trailer Park: The Podcast Trailer Podcast. Now I have to explain this pun a bit: 'trailer park' in English, trailer is precisely the way in which you indicate the preview, both of films and podcasts, of everything. But trailer is, if you look it up in the dictionary, it is also the English name for caravans, and the 'trailer park' is the park where the caravans are parked, they are real villages where people go to live, so this ' trailer park' is a bit of a pun between the trailer park where people live and the place where podcast previews are.

But they're not just any previews, they're previews of podcasts that don't exist yet, that is, of someone who, as is often done, does the preview, then goes around to the investors with the preview and says here's the podcast I'd like to do, have a listen, can you give me the money to produce this?
