Avevamo questi grandi elaboratori elettronici che mi pare di ricordare funzionassero ancora con le schede, li abbiamo usati pochissimo perché, così come il banco modello, cioè una finta banca dove avremmo dovuto fingere di fare tutte le operazioni bancarie, poi non veniva mai usato per quello, e di informatica imparammo, o ci dissero che esistevano due programmi che avremmo dovuto imparare: il COBOL e il Fortran. Parlo al condizionale perché all'epoca avemmo la grande sfortuna di avere un'insegnante che di informatica non ne sapeva niente. Infatti per tutti i tre anni di informatica avevamo un unico libretto che boh, un libretto con la copertina verde dove noi imparavamo le cose a memoria, ma veramente non abbiamo mai fatto niente di che, tant'è che all'esame di maturità, essendo il nostro un corso particolare, appunto quello corso programmatori, e informatica era una materia obbligatoria, e noi ci preparammo porelli, però quando l'esaminatore della commissione esterna cominciò a interrogarci si rese conto che anche i più bravi della classe, anche quelli che presero nove al compito di italiano, non ne sapevano assolutamente niente di informatica e stavano semplicemente ripetendo a memoria delle cose che avevano imparato, ma dalle quali non avevano assolutamente nessuna idea.

Comunque sì, è vero Severino, anche noi siamo stati dei pionieri dell'informatica.
