Stop making weight loss HARD! I recognize that many of you are having a lot of drama around how to lose weight, which program to try, the best strategy and whatnot. Especially after the holidays, the added pounds can be a source of frustration. I used to sit in indecision and it doesn’t work for weight loss or accomplishing any goals in your life. Any indecisiveness about how to lose weight and change your body is translating to you unintentionally self-sabotaging yourself because your mind is trying to figure out a strategy and then changing it’s mind about the strategy. This drama happens all the time. It’s a question I get ALL the time. I always get questions about how to lose weight and where to start. If your weight loss system isn’t clear and isn’t simple, it won’t be effective and you will find yourself bouncing from one weight loss idea to another. So how do you make weight loss easier? Your system must be clear, easy to think about, and your weight loss system needs fits into your life easily, and give you results. So let me ask you –
  1. Do you have 100% clarity around how you're going to lose weight this year?
  2. Is it simple to think about?
  3. Does it fit into your life easily?
  4. Is it doable?
Too much ambiguity creates a confused mind and which then create inaction. I had a client who came to me weighing around 230. She wanted to lose weight and I immediately saw that her brain wanted to make my simple process more confusing. When I helped her make two simple decisions on how to approach weight loss over the next 7 days, her brain relaxed, she had to keep refocussing - but that ease and clarity over time allowed her to go from 230 to 173. You too can slim down but pay attention to whether you are overcomplicating your strategy and notice your beliefs around your ability to slim down.
