MIX Copenhagen started in 1986 and is now Denmark's oldest annual film festival, as well as one of the oldest LGBTQ+ film festivals in the world.
Festival volunteers, Gin and Mihaela are here to talk about LGBTI+ cinema, as well as sharing their film recommendations and thoughts on the importance of having authentic representation of LGBTI+ lives in film and TV. In their words, "films are conversation starters and we want to bring those conversations to the front."
The 36th edition of MIX Copenhagen takes place from 22-31 October, and you can find more information here: www.mixcopenhagen.dk
