The LA Kings have three picks in the 2nd round and two picks each in the 3rd and 4th round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. In the past two drafts, the Kings have selected four players from Sweden (Bjornfot, Fagemo, Lee, Sodergran) and two players from Finland (Kupari, Nousiainen). With 11 picks in the upcoming draft it stands to reason the Kings might add more players from the two hockey powerhouses to their prospect ranks.
Jack Jablonski spoke with Sixten Funqvist in Linkoping, Sweden about the Swedish players likely to be available to the Kings in the later rounds of the draft as well as the expectations for Kings players loaned to teams in Sweden's Allsvenskan league. Then Christer Kasurinen rejoins the podcast from Helsinki, Finland to discuss the Finnish prospects most likely to don an LA Kings jersey in the future.
