Pastor Brandon is hosting solo this week while Tony is on vacation, and he’s joined by one of Venture Church’s newest staff members, Tyrone Renata.Tyrone shares his story, from growing up in Washington and serving alongside Brandon in Modesto to pastoring in Arizona and eventually finding his way back to Venture. They unpack the nearly year-long process that originally had Tyrone preparing to help launch a new Venture location in Edmonds, only for God to unexpectedly redirect the plan and open a completely different role.Tyrone also shares what he’ll be leading at Venture, including Kingdom Builders, locations, leadership development, and serving on the executive team, along with what he’s most excited about in this next season. And, of course, Pastor Brandon has plenty to say about the Mariners’ historic 22–0 loss, old racquetball injuries, books, Star Trek, Bigfoot, UFOs, and a few other things that probably weren’t on the episode outline. It’s an episode about ministry, friendship, trusting God through transition, and recognizing when His plans look completely different from your own.Timestamps0:00 Welcome to Pastors Unfiltered
