You go to gridlife and 95 percent of the cars are miatas and 95 percent of those miatas are all k swapped

There is a viscous diff available in the early NA Miatas. Nothing helical. I believe it's the spider gears that break though in hard launches.

I got a buddy who races his Miata and he holds lap records, but he hasn't done a swap of any kind, but he's looking into a k swap cause his skill is surpassing the power of the car, but he scoots that thing around the track, he dogs big power cars.

The diffs were the weak link in the NA Miatas, I think. But, the NB diff should bolt right up.
