We must not worship the image of God, but God himself, in Spirit and in truth.

* Worshiping images corrupts our knowledge of God.
* We must worship God in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24).

We must not put anything in the place of God in our lives.
* We must not worship idols.
* We can defeat idolatry by redeeming the idols.
