In this episode of the show I am talking to Lucy Higgins about the perfect mother myth, the pressure we feel as mums, where it's coming from, and also some of the tools we can use to help ourselves on the motherhood journey.

Lucy Higgins is a Mum to two boys living in Hertfordshire. She is an International Coaching Federation accredited Coach who helps parents to achieve their personal and professional potential without sacrificing their wellbeing. Driven by her core value of fairness and empathy, she is passionate about ending the mental health stigma and achieving gender equality.

Prior to retraining as a Coach in 2018, she spent 20 years in Corporate Communications - she now works with corporates and with individuals running group and 1-1 career, leadership and wellbeing coaching programmes.

Her Instagram is called Big Talk for Mums (for Mums who hate small talk) because she believes we should be more vulnerable and supportive in the Mum community if we want to challenge patriarchal motherhood and create equal opportunities for women in the next generation.
