It's been almost a decade since Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass decided to step away from the Bourne franchise. Who could blame them? 'Supremacy' was a series high point which practically redefined the action genre and 'Ultimatum' closed out the trilogy perfectly. Of course, the studio wasn't going to leave it there, so we got the tangential 'Legacy' a few years back (which Rob still hasn't seen) - maybe they considered it a threat, maybe they had an idea was worth exploring within the fiction?
