#11 BLOCKAGES IN DATING

Welcome back.
I know it's been a long time - but here we are again and I thank you for being patient and still listening.

In this episode I am going to talk about something most of us have felt but rarely name out loud - when it comes to dating: that invisible wall.
The one that shows up, right when something good is getting close. The one that makes us pull away, self-sabotage, attract the same story in a different face, or simply stay stuck - waiting for something we keep unconsciously pushing away.

I call them blockages in dating.

I have talked to a lot of women, who have all said the same: Dating is brutal. Nobody is genuine anymore. Nobody is honest. It feels impossible out there.
And you know what? I hear that. I really do. But here is the question I want to sit with today. The uncomfortable one. The one that changes everything when you are finally ready to ask it, because what if the common denominator in every story is us?

Not because we are wrong or damaged or to blame. But because we are carrying something. All of us. Old wounds, inherited patterns, the echoes of the first time we loved and it did not feel safe. We walk into new connections and we see them through the lens of everything that came before, and we call it reality when it is actually memory.

We project.
We protect.
We push away the very thing we are longing for.
And then we say dating is hard.

But the real work is not out there. It is in here. Here is my twist though. These blockages are not your enemy. They are not proof that you are broken or too damaged or too much or not enough. They are energy. Old energy. Stored in the body, inherited from our wounds, our earliest experiences of love and what felt safe and what did not. 
And energy – unlike stone, unlike all the walls we build around our hearts - energy can be transformed.

You are not your patterns. You are not your past. And you are not a victim of the dating world, even when it feels that way. You are a vibrational being having a human experience. And once you understand that - once you feel it in your body, not just think it in your head - the victim story can actually be dissolved.
The projections become visible. And the real work, yes the delicious, uncomfortable, deeply liberating work of coming home to yourself can begin.

Because the love you are looking for out there? It starts in here. So take a breath. Get comfortable. And let's go in.
