Hey there! Time for a weather report that's out of this world, literally! Let's dive into the cosmic forecast brought to you by the U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, Space Weather Prediction Center.
First up, we're talking about geomagnetic activity. The Kp index is showing some minor geomagnetic storm possibilities throughout the next three days, with today starting off at a 4.67 on the NOAA scale, known as G1. Keep those space antennas tuned in!
Moving on to solar radiation, there's a chance for a minor solar radiation storm on June 11-12 due to some continued activity on the sun's western limb. So, if you're sensitive to solar flares, you may want to take some precautions.
And lastly, let's chat about radio blackouts. We've seen some R3-level radio blackouts in the past 24 hours, but the forecast shows a decreasing chance for those as we head into the weekend.
Remember, for all the nitty-gritty details, check out the link in the show notes. Thanks for tuning in and stay cosmic, folks!
