Leslie Latimore-Lorfils is championing the cause of homeless female veterans. Organizations like Final Salute (http://www.finalsaluteinc.org/) was founded to help homeless female veterans and their child by raising funds to provide housing and other support. The Ms. Veteran America Competition (http://www.msveteranamerica.org/) was started to provide a platform for military women to help raise funds and raise awareness about this crisis. The competition is over for 2017 but Leslie is still working to raise awareness.
