Today our Limit Breaker is Jake Ruth. Jake is a serial entrepreneur, retail investor, and software engineer based out of NYC. Jake is passionate about fundamentals-based, long-term public equities investing and software development - he’s spent over 30,000 lifetime hours writing computer code!
Before building Stock Unlock, there was always an inner frustration he felt towards the lack of financial education taught in schools, and poor accessibility for retail investors to learn true long-term investing principles. This energy led Jake in 2020 to partner with Daniel Pronk (investor and Youtuber) along with Nick, his co-founder. What started from small programs to automate spreadsheets Daniel created for his Youtube channel, quickly grew into the Stock Unlock platform. Now he has grown his TikTok to over 40k followers and talks about his experience running a company full-time.
