Delve into the poignant personal correspondence of John Huss, the Bohemian religious reformer who stood at the forefront of the early Reformation. Written during his exile from Prague in 1411 and culminating in the heart-wrenching moments leading to his execution as a heretic in 1415 by the Council of Constance, these letters offer a window into Husss thoughts, struggles, and unwavering faith. First published in 1536 by the influential Martin Luther, who also provides an insightful introduction, this collection serves as both a historical document and a testament to the enduring spirit of reform. Join us as we explore the life and legacy of Huss through his own words. - Summary by Rom Maczka
