Hey there East Central Florida seafarers!

Let's dive into the nautical forecast for our coastal waters from Flagler Beach to Jupiter Inlet out to 60 nautical miles. Sounds fancy, right?

Today, keep an eye out for scattered to numerous showers rolling in with moderate to heavy rainfall and gusty winds ahead of a cold front. So, grab your rain gear if you're setting sail!

It's gonna get a bit bumpy out there as seas increase and become hazardous behind the front with gusty to windy northwest winds into late week. Hold on tight!

For the Gulf Stream, south winds will be picking up, especially Cape northward. The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream is about 53 nautical miles east of Ponce Inlet. So stay aware, sailors!

Near the Flagler Beach to Volusia-Brevard County Line, small craft should exercise caution through tonight with a small craft advisory in effect from late tonight through Thursday morning. South winds will shift to northwest and increase, making for choppy seas, with showers possible into the afternoon.

As we sail into the rest of the week, expect rough conditions with building seas and choppy waters. By Friday, northwest winds will bring choppy seas and breezy conditions. But come Sunday, things will calm down with smooth sailing.
