Nate Williams started gang banging at a very early age in Compton California. He stole his first car, a low rider, from a rival gang at age 13. By 17 he was arrested and eventually sentenced to 25 to life in prison. After 32 years down, he now spends his life as an advocate for cultural reform. For the past 11 years, as the founder of Choices For Freedom, Nate spends his time working in the juvenile detention facilities in California, his life is dedicated to helping other youth avoid the path he took. He is also deeply involved inside San Quentin helping others realize the changes they can make towards living a good life. Try and keep up as Nate tells his lively story about a world most of us know little about.
