THE BOOK TITLED: MR. SHORT STORIES
The Mr.’s Short Stories: Volume 1 is full of wisdom written and illustrated by Author Sevan J. Jordan. This book is for people of all ages to understand there will always be obstacles in life but there are also opportunities. Each story has a lesson that many of us have experienced such as how to deal with bullying, knowing how to take the time to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and so much more. This honor roll student, with perfect attendance, has been writing since 7 ½ years of age after being inspired by the Diary of a Wimpy Kid. “I just get lost in books and actually visualize the characters as well as the background,” says Sevan J. Jordan.

Sevan Jordan is a 9 year old 5th grade honor roll student at Perdew Elementary. He started writing books when he was 7 ½ years old because he loves to read. Two books that inspired him to write were ‘’Diary of a wimpy kid” (do it yourself) and Junie B Jones by Barbara Park. He would get lost in books as he read them and says that he actually visualized the people in the stories. His goal is to get one of his books on the best seller list, and aspires to be on T.V. doing a funny sitcom. Sevan wants to continue to write more stories and excel at writing. He also loves soccer and cooking, hoping to one day be a famous cook and soccer player.
