Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose had another knee injury, the city of Los Angeles was trying to get the NFL to return, and the Minnesota Timberwolves had brought back a well past his prime Kevin Garnett!
The NBA was seeing some trade deadline moves, Major League Baseball was trying to speed up their game, and Floyd Mayweather was getting ready to fight Manny Pacquiao.
