For today's Around the Cracker Broadcast, both Executive Director of the Volunteer Clearing House Joyce Finkelstein and Amber Woods Board Chair for the Green Valley/Sahuarita Volunteer Clearing House will be Guy Atchley’s special guests talking about the upcoming Volunteer Showcase.
The 17th Volunteer Showcase Event will be taking place on November 13 from 10a-12noon at the GVR West Center. The Free Event is a great way to meet the over 30 organizations which will be gathering to talk about the Volunteer opportunities available. Joyce tells us about one of those, Casa and how they help many youths in our community. Amber tells us that finding time to volunteer is really not difficult as many oganizations make schedules available to help out.
